Keri Collins is a Welsh BAFTA winning writer and director for film and television, and a Screen International Star of Tomorrow.
As a WRITER working across comedy and drama, Keri is currently writing two feature films for a major streamer.
He is also writing a family movie adaptation of SUPERGRAN, based on the the iconic 1980s British superhero book and TV series.
With his drama co-writer, Ahsan Naeem, Keri also recently set up three original TV dramas at various BAFTA and Emmy winning production companies.
Previously, he sold a female superhero comedy spec to a multiple Emmy winning US production company.
As a DIRECTOR, his debut feature comedy, the micro budget, BAFTA Cymru Breakthrough Award winning CONVENIENCE starred Adeel Akhtar, Ray Panthaki and Vicky McClure.
The film received multiple 4-star reviews, including from EMPIRE magazine and HeyUGuys.com. Mark Kermode described it as "a British Clerks". It was theatrically released in the UK and was then acquired by NETFLIX in 2016.
He recently directed half of series six of the BBC kids football drama, Jamie Johnson, and series two and three of the satirical BBC Brexit comedy, Soft Border Patrol, a clip of which, "Moving the Border" hit 30m views in the first month online. He also directed the first series of Tourist Trap, starring Sally Phillips. The show was BBC Wales's first comedy commission in 20 years, and was immediately recommissioned for a second series which Keri also directed.
SWAPSIES was a short film commissioned by Fox Studios, for broadcast all across the Fox networks during December 2019. Keri also directed half of Trollied season 7 for Sky One.
He was mentored by Sir Kenneth Branagh after being selected for the prestigious Guiding Lights scheme.
Keri is currently developing a number of film and television projects in the UK and USA.
